Osmo Wood Protector 4006 Colourless 0.75L

Description

The Osmo Wood Protector 4006 is a colourless and microporous impregnation based on natural oils and waxes without biocides or preservatives. Thanks to the high physical wood protection, it is suitable for wood that is sensitive to mould. Osmo Wood Protector is highly water-repellent and safe for humans, animals, and plants after drying. The product is also suitable for treating and protecting children's toys.

Using Wood Protector
The Osmo Wood Protector 4006 is suitable for all indoor wood such as: floors, furniture, and windows. But especially for wood that is sensitive to mould, for example, wood that is placed in damp areas such as bathrooms. The Wood Protector is also suitable for treating outdoor wood that is sensitive to mould. The Wood Protector 4006 is a colourless product and colours the wood as if it has been wet. The colour of the wood is deepened.

Note: the Osmo Wood Protector 4006 must always be used with a topcoat. For indoors, think of the Osmo Hardwax Oil Original of TopOil and for outdoors with the Natural Oil Stain or the Terrace Oil.

Instructions

1. The wooden surface must be clean and dry. Old layers (such as varnish and stain) must be completely removed.

2. The product is ready for use. Stir the can well for at least 2 minutes.

3. Apply the Wood Protector thinly to the new or sanded wood. This can be done with an Osmo Brush, Block Brush or Microfibre Roller.

4. Allow the Wood Protector to dry for at least 24 hours (at 23 degrees and 50% relative humidity). At lower temperatures or higher humidity, drying will take longer. Good ventilation must be ensured at all times. Therefore, ensure that it is not applied during bad weather and rain.

5. The topcoat must be applied within a week. This can be done indoors, for example, with the Osmo Hardwax Oil Original or TopOil and for outdoors with the Natural Oil Stain or the Terrace Oil.
